This internship will provide an opportunity to strengthen analytical skills by working on & completing a variety of projects related to business process improvement, strategy development, and implementation. The intern will support with data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking to help improve service delivery, achieve organizational goals, and contribute to WSSC Water’s strategic priorities.Essential Functions· Support in creating, developing, and updating reports.· Gather, compile, and analyze research data in various formats.· Perform data quality checks and ensure the validity of analytical outputs.· Assist in responding to requests for information from internal stakeholders.· Support STAT meetings preparation and facilitation.· Record detailed meeting minutes and notes during meetings.· Assist in developing & maintaining databases to support office objectives.Other Functions· Coordinate with staff from WSSC Water departments to access & acquire data and information.· Assist in special projects as assigned by supervisors.· Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.Work Environment And Physical DemandsBusiness casual office setting.Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities· Basic understanding of research, statistics, and survey methodologies.· Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Etc.).· Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.· Effective interpersonal skills for working independently and with a team.Minimum Education, Experience RequirementsCompletion of a minimum of 1 year of college courseworkAdditional Requirements

Proficient in the use of MS Office applications

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.

Regular and reliable transportation to work location.
