SUMMARY:
Monument Enterprises is seeking a talented Carpenter Technician in the metro area with minimum 3 years experience in commercial property maintenance. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to be a team player, must be reliable and self-motivated, must have strong communication, must be well organized and must have knowledge of all facets in maintenance. This position includes rotating schedule (every other week) for being on-call evenings and weekends.
Requirements include:
Turnover of vacant apartments & condominiums, including but not limited to replacement of electrical and plumbing fixtures, installation of doors, including Bi Fold doors
Repair and installation of electrical fixtures, including lighting and exhaust fans
Painting
Drywall installation & repair
Maintenance of common areas, including, but not limited to stair treads, cove base, and baseboards.
Plumbing repairs, including repairs to toilets, installation of sinks and vanities, unclogging drains, replacement of showerheads, minor repairs to garbage disposals, etc.
Responding to all service requests from residents, including HVAC requests.
Troubleshooting ALL HVAC equipment and appliances
Appliance installation and replacement
Snow removal and grounds maintenance
Power washing
Carpentry skills including hanging cabinets, installation of countertops, hardware replacement and adjustment
Basic inventory tracking
