PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Project consists of work to construct one water intake trench in the nearby South Branch Potomac River, one steel frame metal building over the existing flocculating clarifiers including hoist system and electrical work, one booster station including piping, pumps, electrical work approximately 400 feet of new and relocated 14" waterline including valves, flush out assemblies, fire hydrant and making three tie-ins to existing mains including two hot taps, revisions to the existing SCADA system, electrical work in the existing operations building to accommodate the new construction, site work, four (4) master meters to be installed on existing waterlines throughout the system, and other work required to provide a complete operating water treatment system.
