PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Superstructure Replacement and Substructure Rehabilitation for Bridge No. 1101400 on MD 135 over Little Youghiogheny River. The 3-span steel girder bridge has span lengths of 32’, 40’, and 32’ for a length of 104’, with a proposed clear roadway of 36’. Project includes removal of existing concrete bridge superstructure, rehabilitation of the bridge substructure, 0.17 miles of approach roadway work, storm water management, placement of new traffic barriers, signing, and installation of permanent pavement striping. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained with a temporary traffic signal.
