We are a unique Martial Arts After School Program. We run extended martial arts class 2:30-5:30 Monday-Friday. We are looking for a physical assistant instructor. Martial Arts Training a plus, but not necessary. You must be able to lead a group of kids in exercises and stretching. Other duties include helping with arrival, dismissal, attendance, snack, and end of day clean up.
One Wednesday a month kids have early school dismissal hours would be 12-5:00.
- Help ensuring that students are engaged, motivated, and challenged.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment, focusing on discipline, respect, and self-control.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and organized training area.
- Develop and maintain a clean and well-maintained training facility.
- Keep accurate records of attendance.
Skills:
- Experience working with children and students of all ages and skill levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with classroom management and discipline.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR.
- Experience with childcare is a plus.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina a plus
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
