Part Time Tutor & Study Support - In Person
My son is a kind bright highschool senior with ADD and related attention, planning, executive function, and focus challenges. In the past he has had a good experience recieving help with homework planning, scheduling, tracking, and tactics. He will benefit from coaching on: time management, time tracking, time limits, routines, daily/weekly/monthly planning, individual assignment planning and execution, note taking, study notes, binder organization, minimizing distractions, checklists, test preparation, exam preparation, writing composition, positive reinforcement, etc., etc. This job may be well suited for a college undergraduate, or masters student with an interest in education. Other majors are also fine. We are close to Boston College, a short walk from the Reservoir T-station. We are thinking 5 pm - 8 pm, 3 days per week (Mon, Tues, Wed, to begin), at our house, and you would be able to work on your own homework, when not coaching and providing oversight.
