The Center for Regenerative Medicine (CReM) of Boston University and Boston Medical Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work in a medium-sized, research/teaching department on the Boston University Medical Campus. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and will enjoy working in a department that is driven by its research mission and expansive vision. The tentative start date for this role is May 1st, 2024.Specific tasks will include:

Serve as the executive assistant to the Director of the Center.

Perform daily administrative duties as required by faculty and delegated by the Administrative Director.

Coordinate guest speaker visits, including booking accommodations and creating guest itineraries.

Coordinate and conduct group meetings and events for the Center.

Distribute Center-wide communications and monthly newsletters.

Maintain the Center's website and social media accounts.

Order supplies and ensure the general maintenance of the facility.

Submit reimbursements and reconcile Center transactions.

Process invoices and payments for high-value equipment and lab services.

Manage the front desk, welcoming visitors, guests, interviewees, and collaborators.

Conduct onboarding for students, faculty, and staff, including initial administrative training and e-onboarding.

Required SkillsRequired Skills:

Bachelor's degree preferred with 1-3 years of experience.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in data entry and management tools.

Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
