Job Responsibilities:
Rack headend equipment
Install associated coaxial and Ethernet cables
Connectorize coaxial and Ethernet cables
Test coaxial and Ethernet cables
Clean, test and install fiber jumpers
Label coaxial, Ethernet cables and fiber jumpers
Read and understand hub design and rack elevations
Maintain and submit all documentation (expense reports, timesheets, etc.) in a timely manner
Handling, load, and unload materials and equipment as needed to complete a project.Skills:
Experience in Telecom Environment with Coax/Ethernet/Fiber Jumpers
Ability to Bundle and Lace hundreds of cables
Ability to self-manage
Must be able to mentor and direct others.
Coax, Ethernet and Fiber handling experience
Basic computer skills
Troubleshooting/problem solving skills
Understanding of Hub design and rack elevations
Must provide own required tools
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
Team player and detail oriented
Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceQualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
5-7 years experience required.
Valid Driver's License, clean background and clean DMV record
Able to travel extensively
Able to lift 50 lbs
