The Communications Consultant develops internal communications strategies that support employee engagement and medium to large-scale business objectives. Works with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to develop and implement communications strategy for GRM U.S. Claims lines of business. Evaluates effectiveness of campaigns and communications through metrics and analysis.Work is characterized by a high level of independence and ownership of projects and relationships. Works directly with business contacts to develop strategies and solutions that reflect the strategic initiatives and objectives of the business. Provides communications expertise, support, consultation and guidance to business group(s).Responsibilities:

Independently interfaces with senior leadership in GRM U.S. Claims to develop communications strategy, which supports line of business, functional, and corporate objectives.

Independently plans, develops and manages strategic and large scope internal communications initiatives and programs, including complex organizational changes.

Ensures delivery of key messages to targeted employee audiences.

Plans, organizes and coordinates the design and delivery of the most effective, efficient and impactful methods and channels to ensure accomplishment of business goals.

Identifies situational and strategic communication opportunities and outlines plans to address them.

Identifies appropriate metrics and evaluates program effectiveness to report to senior leaders.

Contributes to departmental planning including prioritization of projects based on needs of internal clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, English or Journalism) or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 5-7 years of related and progressively more responsible experience.

Strong project management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including superb attention to detail.

Advanced knowledge of many current and emerging communications technologies.
