Corporate Account Manager

Boston, MA, USA | Salary | Corporate | Full Time Primary Purpose: Sell and maintain Corporate Accounts.Essential Functions and Requirements:

Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

Work with regional sales organizations to call on corporate EHS, product line and purchasing professionals and technical buyers to procure an understanding of both local and corporate wide needs. Work with sales team to satisfy the local plant needs.

Call on divisional, regional and corporate executives to develop broad range professional services opportunities. Expected to target $25-45 million per year from both ongoing and newly created targeted customers. Build strong relationships with customers.

Work with sales, marketing and other CAM's to create a more focused approach to sales including account targeting, developing tactical plans, proposal offerings and contract creation with the company's' customers in a team approach.

Strong negotiation abilities with the execution of contracts and service offerings.

Manage the business support staff to maintain appropriate scheduling, proposal preparation, provide timely responses to customer questions and complaints and assure all are satisfactorily addressed.

Cultivates positive relations for the company by participation in community and government activities; serves on related committees as appropriate.

Work toward building and maintaining a positive company image internally and externally.

Remain up to date on all competitors' offerings including products and services.

Trains, coaches, mentors and develops AR to ensure reliable and continuous performance in accordance with the talent strategy, succession plan, and partnering program.

Able to manage responsibilities with little guidance from management. Responsible for professional presentations to our customer's senior executives.

Acts as a leader in our company, utilizing their vast experience and knowledge to impact growth and management of the profitability of Heritage Environmental.

Liaison between sales, operations, customer service and customers.

Attends and participates in sales meeting and training programs; represents company at trade shows and conventions, Chamber of Commerce and other trade and professional associations.

Keeps informed on major environmental regulatory changes and industry trends as well as competitive conditions to work with customers and to develop customer solutions as needed, requested or identified.

Demonstrate ability to adapt to CORE business and customer categorization to fill up the company owned assets.

Ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements.

Complete annual sales revenues budget.

Prepares, submits, and interprets periodic report on activities, sales volume and expenses. Manage and control sales expenses and ensure the timely submission of business expenses.

Comprehensive understanding of the Company's service offerings for the business lines they offer to customers.

Travel up to 50-80% The travel will be local and out-of-area requiring overnight stays should be expected.

Four-year degree preferred.Experience: 5+ years general business, sales and account management experience required with a four year degree as well as 3+ years in the environmental industry or business development area. In lieu of degree, 10+ years general business, sales and account management experience required as well as 3+ years in the environmental industry or business development area.Knowledge and Abilities: Requires a strong knowledge of computers, CRM, expense reporting systems, and other computer access programs. Develop and maintain technical understanding of all site and technical service lines of business. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. Ability to organize and set schedule and tasks for ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Maintain knowledge of State & Federal Waste Codes Regulations. Internal Applicants Additional Requirements: Score of 3 or greater on last Account Representative evaluation. Territory should meet customer classification requirements. Margins from customers meet all Requirements. Demonstrate success in acquisition of National Account plants in assigned territory. Must have knowledge of the Heritage Organization. Must have strong acumen in compliance and necessary ongoing education to ensure that all regulations are enforced.
