CGI is looking to build a specialized Guidewire Practice that will lead all Guidewire implementations and managed services for CGI customer in New England. CGI has Guidewire teams in the US, Europe, India and Canada. We need to build a local Guidewire Leadership team that will lead CGI Guidewire team members assigned to local projects (US New England). This is a great opportunity to show case your deep Guidewire knowledge and skills to help build a highly effective Guidewire team.Future Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead a global DataHub/InfoCenter (DH/IC) team initially supporting, optimizing and enhancing one customer’s DH/IC instance (GW Suite v9). This role will be responsible for establishing bests practices, tools and processes to stabilize/support the DH/IC environment (including downstream feeds/integrations like G/L Statutory Reporting,…) optimize incident management, problem management and enhance the solution. Ideal candidate with be able to help the client design a develop a future state custom AWS based replacement for DH/IC.Day-to-day responsibilities include: Lead the implementation and configuration of Guidewire DataHub to meet the customer’s data integration and management requirements Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and design effective DataHub solutions Manage the end-to-end data integration processes using Guidewire DataHub, ensuring the accurate and timely flow of data across systems Implement best practices for data quality, validation, and transformation within the DataHub environment Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other teams to understand data sources, data models, and integration points Collaborate with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter teams to ensure seamless data flow between systems Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues related to Guidewire DataHub, ensuring high availability and performance Provide support for DataHub-related incidents and participate in root cause analysis Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for DataHub configurations, data mappings, and integration processes Hands on experience for developing new dashboards for operational, financial needs in InfoCenter Train and guide team members on the use and maintenance of Guidewire DataHub & InfoCenter Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures within the Guidewire DataHub environment Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data managementRequired Experience Strong knowledge of the US P&C industry from a data, reporting and analytic perspective. Should have strong experience in Guidewire, ETL, DataHub, InfoCenter, and Cognos. 6+ years of experience as technical lead for Datahub and ETL tools Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional data modeling Expertise with SQL queries, analytical services, reporting services Experience with one or more SDLC methodologies Expertise related to metadata management, data modeling, data model rationalization, and database products Experience with data scripting and programming Understands context of their project within the larger portfolio Demonstrated a strong attention to detail Possesses strong analytical skills Demonstrated a strong sense of ownership and commitment to program goals Strong verbal and written communication skills Identifies and implements operational database requirements and proposed enhancements in support of requested application development or business functionality Develops and translates business requirements into detailed data designs Maps data between systems (in conjunction with Business Analysts) Assists engineering and development teams as application data expert from physical data models to production implementations Identifies entities, attributes, and referential relationships for data models using a robust enterprise information engineering approach Creates tables, indexes, constants, and assist programmers with SQL, tuning and reviews Participates in data analysis, archiving, database design, and development activities for migration of existing data as needed Develops ETL interfaces from source databases and systems to the data warehouse Works closely with application development teams to ensure quality interaction with the databaseQualifications +10 years of experience in IT with +4 years of hands-on experience in implementing and/or supporting Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter Solid understanding of Guidewire, Personal and Commercial Lines Insurance Data Solid experience with ETL Architecture, Data Modeling and Data analysis Experience in testing, debugging skills and troubleshooting support and development issues Experience with design and development on multiple ODS and DW implementations Experience with large projects, handling clients and leading offshore teams Customer focused and works well in a team environment Proactive and self-managed to achieve deliverables Experience working in the Insurance Industry Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects & prioritize correctly This person must have the ability to work well with cross border technical team members Strong skills managing customer.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
