This position will support our Remediation team within our Environment business line.This position is expected to begin June 2027, but that date is flexible.Job Overview:The Entry-Level Water Resources Engineer will work with a diverse team of engineers, project managers and technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering remediation consulting services in New England.The job responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:Support planning, design, construction, and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure and best management practices (BMPs), low impact development projects, and green infrastructure practicesPerform field work including environmental sampling and parameter collection, stormwater BMP inspection, BMP retrofit assessments and stream evaluationsPrepare construction documents, engineering reports, and basic data and scientific documents regarding stormwater, water quality, watershed management, and best management practicesSupport hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling, and geospatial evaluationsPrepare written and graphic reportsBuild analytic and design skillsConduct engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineerCreate designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineerCollect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineerUse computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problemsPerform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision
