Finance Insights-FP&A Senior Manager Finance & Performance - Unlocking financial performance and enterprise value We work as trusted advisors to CFO's, COO's, CIO's and other key executives to advise, implement, and deliver as-a service solutions, improving finance, shared service and real estate operations, and helping clients develop strategies to support enterprise-wide decision making.Work you'll doAs a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. You will contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways including:Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.Relationship Management of executive clients and sponsors: Participate in Business Development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies, develop "thoughtware" and "point- of-view" documents, participate in public speaking events, get published in industry periodicals.People Development: Perform the role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local officesThe teamFinance Insights & Transformation Our FI&T team transforms Finance from function to dynamic capability. As finance cycles converge, we advise, implement, and operate best-in-class solutions across actuals and forecast to accelerate insights including finance and analytics, planning, FP&A as-a-service, finance technology strategy, and ERP-enabled finance transformation.Qualifications Required:

12 plus years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry.

Financial planning and forecasting, planning analytics, financial modeling, operational finance, predictive forecasting

Ability to read complex financial and analytic models

Strong understanding of accounting concepts, US GAAP and applications

Ability to identify client's financial risks and opportunities

Experience advising clients on tools and models to drive efficiencies and cost saving opportunities

Ability to engage with cross-functional teams such as controllers, corp FP&A, finance and accounting teams and IT

Experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions through due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition integration

Limited sponsorship may be available

Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

Preferred:

Advanced analytics methods and skills experience serving finance and CFO office

Planning, budgeting, and forecasting optimization experience

Zero-based budgeting (ZBB)

Cost and profitability management optimization experience

Skills in management reporting and analytics design

Strong executive presence including the ability to advise and influence at board level

Demonstrated ability to lead discussions with senior-level clients, F&P alliance partners, developers, and architects

Track record of eminence building activities (public speaking, publishing of articles etc.)

Demonstrated experience delivering large, complex projects for multinational organizations with multiple stakeholders

Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources

Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) with experience presenting to clients and important decision makers

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $186,000 to $310,000.
