Description We are in search of a Fund Accountant Intermediate with 3-6 years of experience to join our team based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the financial industry. As a Fund Accountant Intermediate, you will be tasked with managing daily transactions, including portfolio valuations, generating necessary reports for each client, and communicating pertinent information to fund management.Responsibilities: Manage daily transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Conduct regular portfolio valuations, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of portfolio performance. Generate necessary reports for each client, providing clear and concise information. Communicate effectively with fund management, relaying necessary information and responding to queries. Assist in the migration of clients onto our fund services platforms, ensuring a smooth transition process. Maintain accurate accounting functions, adhering to industry standards and regulations. Handle documentation, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate and up-to-date. Utilize your skills in fund management to optimize client portfolios. Resolve customer inquiries, providing high-quality customer service at all times. Requirements Proficient in Documentation, with the ability to create, maintain, and manage records efficiently. Demonstrated experience in Reporting, including preparing, analyzing, and presenting complex financial reports. Proven expertise in Migration, ensuring smooth transition of data and operations during system upgrades or changes. Skilled in Valuations, with the ability to assess the worth of assets and investments accurately. Experienced in Daily Transaction processing, ensuring all financial activities are recorded and reconciled promptly. Knowledge and experience in Fund Management, including the management of investment portfolios and making investment decisions. Proficiency in Accounting Functions, including balancing accounts, processing payments, and managing financial records.
