This LIMS Admin role is with a leading biotech company that develops and provides pharmaceutical bioproducts through its innovative technologies for patients with serious diseases. The LIMS admin will be responsible for administering user accounts and support development of system roles and solving end-user LIMS template and end-user LIMS data entry issues. On site in Framingham MA.

This LIMS Admin role is with a leading biotech company that develops and provides pharmaceutical bioproducts through its innovative technologies for patients with serious diseases. This LIMS admin is required to be on site in the Framingham MA office 5 days a week.

Description
Key responsibilities for this LIMS Admin include:


  • Administer user accounts and support development of system roles

  • Solve end-user LIMS template and end-user LIMS data entry issues

  • Work with IT and Quality personal to ensure system compliance

  • Support and/or develop and execute validations scripts as needed for change control and system functionality upgrades for continuous system enhancements

  • Identify operational improvement opportunities which LIMS can provide solutions

  • Lead Cross function teams to develop site specific needs in a harmonized format

  • Support project scope, goals and deliverables through collaboration with cross functional teams in buildout and administration of system

  • identify and raise concerns with management e.g. data anomalies or opportunity for continuous improvement

  • Work in a flexible and efficient way to adapt to changing plans and workflow

  • Train and support through guidance to colleagues in use of LIMS

  • Become proficient in the administrative functions of LIMS

  • Become proficient in the building and configuration of LIMS

  • Troubleshoot/offer advice as the a LIMS subject matter expert (SME) where required to minimize downtime and impact on data, product and/or stability release functionality and reporting

  • Develop and author LIMS Standard operating procedures, work instructions

  • Responsible for training for end users on system functionality

  • Manage development, sandbox and production environments

Profile
Key skills required for the LIMS Admin:


  • BS degree in Information Science, Biological/Chemical Science or Engineering

  • Experience LIMS in cGMP environment preferred (extra consideration for LabWare LIMS experience)

  • Understand GMP compliance including electronic system compliance and validation.

  • Broad experience with Microsoft Word, excel and electronic document management systems

  • 3+ years in GMP QC/QA environment is required

  • Experience in authoring, SOPs, work instructions and technical reports.

  • Familiarity in a regulated environment
