Date Posted:2024-11-06Country:United States of AmericaLocation:RMA99: RTN Remote, MassachusettsPosition Role Type:RemoteJoin our dynamic Finance Budgets Team as a Manager, FP&A and play a crucial role in compiling, monitoring and controlling/reviewing overhead costs for the Digital Technology (DT) and Engineering & Technology (E&T) functions. This position is a key member of the team, you will work closely with functional leadership/POCs to track spending, identify risks and opportunities, and to provide financial assistance and analysis to multiple levels of management within these functions. This successful individual will also be responsible for the management and development of their team members. This individual’s insights, suggestions and leadership will help drive risk mitigation and the realization of opportunities, making a meaningful impact on the organization. This role demands a high level of business acumen and influence, as well as expertise in forecasting, budgeting process and variance analysis. This team member will be integrated into the monthly forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, and the EAC process providing valuable input and analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Analyze trend data, recommend, and interpret budgetary policy & procedures in support of the Digital Technology (DT) and Engineering & Technology (E&T) organizations.

Develop and present various charts and offer suggestions to management.

Consolidate financial projection inputs, provide analysis, document changes to actuals and forecast, and review with leadership.

Support the consolidated reporting for multiple CAS segments. This includes weekly labor reporting in addition to month-end consolidation reporting including overhead variances and explanations. Other reporting includes utilization, overtime, unapproved time, unallowable cost analysis, headcount and ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Support, lead, and discuss presentations with management, and will interface and conduct business with Senior Management and/or Director level personnel.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

Minimum 8 years of related finance experience preferably in Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Analysis

Supervisory or Mentorship experience

Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Rplan Cost Center reporting

Knowledge of SAP R3, BW and APEX and Rplan

Knowledge of Overhead Rates, Cost Estimating Relationships (CER Pools)

Independently create and accurately analyze cost data

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
