It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!Job Description Summary:As the Onboarding and Employee Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective onboarding program and continuous development initiatives to enhance the skills and engagement of employees within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure a seamless onboarding process for all Rocketeers and designing strategies for ongoing professional growth. You will need to be comfortable facilitating training sessions and being an ambassador of our company values of Empathy, Humanity, Trust and Love. In this role, you should be passionate about helping Rocketeers learn and grow. Ultimately, you will help Rocket succeed by setting new hires up for success, providing opportunities for every Rocketeer to develop and continuing to build a culture of high performance and accountability.Essential ResponsibilitiesOnboarding Program Development & Delivery:

Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new Rocketeers.

Create onboarding materials, including orientation manuals, training modules, and welcome kits.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure a smooth integration of new employees into the organization.'

Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to the company culture, values, and policies.

Provide information on benefits, resources, and support systems available to employees.

Gather feedback to continuously improve the onboarding process.

Training and Development:

Identify skill gaps and training needs within the organization.

Design and deliver training programs that align with organizational goals and employee development plans.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant and engaging training content.

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of development initiatives.

Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)

Establish mentorship programs to facilitate knowledge transfer and professional growth.

Implement strategies to foster a supportive learning environment.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with HR, department heads, and leadership to align development programs with overall business objectives.

Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote awareness of available development opportunities.

Technology Integration:

Leverage technology tools for efficient onboarding processes and to deliver training across modalities.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in employee development technology.

Qualifications

Proven experience and successful track record in onboarding, employee development, or a related role

Strong knowledge of effective training methodologies, learning management systems, and performance management

Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills

Experience creating compelling content / slides for instruction

Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships across departments

Experience with budgets and program management

Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors

Sharp business acumen

Proactive

Experience with Workday, Sharepoint, Slack a plus, but not required
