Position Purpose: We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Project Engineer to join our energy services Boston team. In this role, you will be responsible for the survey, design, installation oversight, and commissioning of metering equipment and data gathering hardware. You will oversee contractor work during critical project phases, provide technical support for build and assembly activities, and conduct system commissioning, start-ups, and training while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Commission and start-up utility-grade metering equipmentEngineer and design new or modified advanced metering systems to meet customer objectivesReview project, equipment, and proposed design plans for specification complianceConduct on-site surveys and walkthroughs with operating personnel, contractors, and engineering teamsPerform lab testing for process troubleshooting and optimizationManage multiple projects simultaneously over extended periodsTroubleshoot, inspect, and rebuild existing equipment in field environmentsPrepare technical documentation, procedures, internal memoranda, and reports in a timely mannerOversee contractor work during specific project phases and provide technical supportWork Environment: Travel up to 20%
