About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):09The Team: The Americas Public Finance (APF) LG Central team maintains a strong culture of analytical excellence and customer service in a supportive and collegial environment. Our team is responsible for ratings in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, West Virginia, and Tennessee and is looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly. You will work on a portfolio of credits that will allow you to learn new skill sets

The APF LG Central team will provide you with the opportunity to build on your sector knowledge and interact with local governments across a variety of states. As your career progresses you will have the chance to speak with the media and at conferences or write opinion pieces on the sector.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,300 to $115,850. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. BS/BA or similar degree with studies in finance, government/public policy, accounting, economics, or similar fields

A demonstrated interest in local governments and how they work

2+ year of relevant work experience

Strong work ethic and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Strong ability to work with financial models and data, including cash flow and credit models

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact confidently with clients

Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to learn in both formal and on-the-job settings

Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment with excellent time management skills

Ability to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and juggle multiple priorities at once

  • The Application Analyst III position will be housed under a subsidiary organization of C3, Community Technology Cooperative, LLC (CTC) to implement, maintain, support, and maximize the use of clinical, financial, and administrative portions of the software applications utilized by CTC in conducting daily operations under the direction of the Manager of Population Health & Reporting.
