This Senior Network Security Engineer shall be responsible for:
Leading projects, designing systems and architecture, developing documentation and delivering transfer of knowledge.
Design and implementation of Network Admissions Control and Micro-segmentation strategy for the enterprise network.
Utilizing various security solutions to ensure that the networks are protected as designed.
Determining the need for network management tools, participating in their design, development, and implementation. Maintaining knowledge of the state of the art developments in network security and recommending new technology when appropriate.
Contributing heavily in the design, construction, and on-going maintenance of CH's various network security platforms. Playing a leadership role in the development of CH's network strategy.
Supporting BCH's network security firewalls, NAC and VPN platforms.
Creating and maintaining documentation designed to facilitate the operation and maintenance of the various networks. Responding to user reports of network difficulties, resolving same, and reporting corrective actions taken.
Representing the Network Manager or Children's hospital at meetings, seminars, problem situations etc.
In order to qualify you must have:
Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field and 5 years of previous network experience.
Experience working with technologies involving Cisco, Arista, IP Routing, LAN Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper SRX, FortiNet, Aruba as well as ForeScout
Experience with Azure and AWS Cloud Networking and Security, including transit gateways, direct connect and express routePreferred certifications include: CCNA,CCNP, CCIE or JNCIE.
