You should have a clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles and be eager to help automate. Prior experience in coding is required. Join us!ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Member of Technical Staff on the Core Networking Control Services team, you will help design and develop highly scalable and performant cloud services to manage a growing fleet of networking devices. You will be one of the engineers responsible for implementing, deploying and operating a highly available, and secure cloud services. You will design and develop code, unit tests, integration tests, use CI/CD pipeline for pre-production functionality, performance, and scalability testing. You will participate in our on-call rotation to monitor our service fleet.Required Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in software development developing large scale distributed services/applications

Proficiency in Java/Python and Object-Oriented programming

Excellent knowledge of data structures, search/sort algorithms

Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of cloud computing & networking technologies including monitoring services

Experience developing service-oriented systems

Exposure to Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Storm, open TSDB, Elastic Search or other distributed compute platforms

Experience developing automated test suites

Experience with Jira, Confluence, BitBucket

Knowledge of Scrum & Agile Methodologies

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
