DescriptionThe Creative Group is seeking candidates on behalf of a client with an open User Experience (UX) Designer position. This User Experience (UX) Designer position will require you to conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translate them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. Furthermore, you will also design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience. This is a job for a creative thinker who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Boston, Massachusetts area.Major responsibilities
Produce satisfying experiences for users of a product, based on results from user research and workflow analysis
Teaming with other members of the digital marketing team on the creation of new initiatives
Lending a helping hand to other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.)
Creating tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes
Running usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience
Partnering with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Focus areas may include content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience

Well versed Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools)
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
Knowledge of prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Demonstrated understanding of design software applications and tools
Interaction Designer experience highly desired
Proven knowledge of wireframes
Command of Prototypes
Application Design experience preferred
Functional Design experience
UX experience
You will succeed in this position if you have strong interpersonal skills
A portfolio exhibiting UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience
Able to use graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite
7+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industry
