We're looking for a talented SharePoint Administrator with excellent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies. In this role, you will support and enhance SharePoint Online, along with other business productivity technologies.

Responsibilities of the SharePoint Administrator:
  • Provide technical direction and support for Microsoft 365
  • Define, recommend, design, adn implement new uses of technology or improvements to existing systems
  • Primarily lead work related to the design and enhancement of enterprise-wide architecture of Sharepoint Online, Teams, and associated technologies

Requirements of the SharePoint Administrator:
  • Extensive analysis, design, implementation, administration, and governance experience in large, complex Microsoft 365 deployments
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and administration tasks with experience implementing COTS features and modern web parts
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 application models with taxonomy and metadata experience
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Search, SharePoint Search Service, User Profile Service, and other service applications
  • Experience developing custom SharePoint solutions, site templates, site/theme designs, custom pages, and content types
  • Experience taking requirements, generating designs, and implementing a final solution from scratch

  • The Grants Administrator is responsible for managing a portfolio of sponsored and non-sponsored funds for Mechanical Engineering faculty. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Research Administration, the Grants Administrator will be responsible for advising and assisting a portfolio of assigned faculty with the development and submission of proposals for sponsored research; management of all financial accounts; and representing the assigned faculty in communication with university administrative offices and federal and private funding agencies for sponsored research. The incumbent must have extensive knowledge of Uniform Guidance and federal sponsor guidelines. The incumbent will be responsible for the development and maintenance of resources and administrative infrastructure to assist faculty in developing group proposals and will work on special projects as assigned. The incumbent will also use the independent judgment and problem-solving skills to ensure compliance with sponsor and donor regulations as well as University and College policies.
