Job Requisition ID #24WD82186Responsibilities : Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions. Provide technical leadership within the organization by creating and reviewing high-quality architecture designs, providing technical solutions and leading technical discussions. Take an active part in the global architect forum by representing data interoperability team, leading cross org initiative, and communicating decisions and action-items to the relevant people. Work closely with different stakeholders: product managers, developers, tech leads, etc. to translate business needs and product requirements to well-documented engineering solutions. Ensure the solution implementations achieve the desired quality attributes, such as performance and optimization, scalability, extensibility, security, and resiliency. Empower innovations in Autodesk data platform with the deep understanding of how CAD data are organized and consumed in different systems. Be a role model for applying software development best practices. Mentor the tech leads and senior developers. Take ownership of the delivery of CAD data exchange software components and features, with high emphasis on quality. Put efforts in creating broad consensus, resolving conflicts and maintaining an effective, healthy and pleasant workspace environment. Some telecommuting is permitted.Minimum Requirements : Bachelor's degree in to Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software engineering-related occupation. Some telecommuting is permitted.Special Requirements : Position requires at least eight (8) years of experience in each of the following skills:

Utilize knowledge of Software development experience using Modern C to program new feature requirements

Utilize knowledge of modeling data consumed in CAD solutions such as domain-specific constructs, product design structures, attributes, properties, geometries like Brep/mesh/curve/point and working geometries to underpin the architectural design of data exchange solution

Utilize knowledge of commercial CAD software such as Inventor, Revit, Fusion 360, NX, SolidWorks, CATIA to create and validate CAD data translation results

Utilize knowledge of API architecture and management to ensure API design consistency and healthy evolution

Utilize knowledge of architectural experience with software components, cloud-based systems and micro-services to deliver system architecture and collaborate with peer technical leaders

Utilize knowledge of SDK development and API binary compatibility solutions to accelerate components integration and adoption

Utilize knowledge of various CAD open standards (e.g. STEP/IFC/STL/OBJ) and proprietary formats (e.g. NX/SolidWorks/Inventor) to guide the development of data exchange solutions

Utilize knowledge of Agile development to effectively work with development teams following the Agile methodologies

Utilize knowledge of Windows/Mac/Linux operating systems to develop cross platform solutions

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $177,800 - $220,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
