Description Staff Accountant - Boston - In Office - Up to $75k This Robert Half partner company is seeking a full-time permanent staff accountant to join their team. They offer Dining Services, Member Events, and Private Event Catering to 1,500+ members and their guests. Clients experience the most breathtaking panoramic views of Boston from our five private event spaces.Responsibilities: Oversee the accounts payable functions, which include managing daily invoices and vendor statements. Handle accounts receivable duties such as generating monthly billings, addressing member inquiries, fulfilling information requests, and executing daily A/R entries and banking tasks. Undertake collection calls as required to ensure timely payments. Utilize Microsoft Excel to accomplish various accounting tasks efficiently. Generate daily cash and credit card processing reports for reconciliation purposes. Respond promptly and effectively to email requests and problem-solving tasks. Carry out monthly reconciliation of General Ledger accounts. Safeguard the organization's value by ensuring information confidentiality. Provide occasional HR support, particularly in relation to new hires and benefits administration.Requirements
Associate’s degree in accounting, bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred
5 years experience with general staff accounting
Food & Beverage experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office and excel
Communicates professionally over phone & e-mail
