Temporary Direct Marketing Coordinator

This temporary hire will primarily support the Direct Marketing team’s efforts in producing mailed fundraising campaigns while also assisting Planned Giving with gift processing and administrative requests. This is a temporary, full-time position (35 hours per week) expected to last approximately six months. The hourly rate is $28.50–$29.50, depending on experience. The position is eligible for sick time upon hire and health insurance benefits after 90 days of employment. This is a hybrid role and requires working in the Boston office at least two days per week.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Handling general administrative tasks, including but not limited to executing contracts, charity ratings updates, workplace-giving platform maintenance, assisting with collateral purchasing and quotes, and processing of return mail.Coordinating the Direct Marketing Teams accounting functions: Processing expense authorizations, verifying invoices against budgets, and preparing approvals for prompt payments.Facilitate the implementation of direct marketing efforts. This will include the Review and routing of campaign strategy memos, campaign copy decks, artwork, and other mail production elements.Implement cultivation, conversion, and stewardship of Direct Marketing audiences in coordination with the Team. This includes the preparation of Welcome Packages, Fulfilment of Information Requests, and Gift Acknowledgements. Execution for this will require familiarity with mail-mergers, printing, and mail.Collaborate on the state registration and reporting process.Process, track, and report on Direct Marketing surveys.Coordinate URL requests with the Digital Team for Direct Mail messaging alignment.Respond to state solicitation registration and reporting requests.Perform other duties as needed.POSITION EXPECTATIONS Will stay abreast of professional standards, trends and issues affecting this set ofresponsibilities, demonstrating continuous learning of the field.Will work effectively and collaboratively in support of building a team-based, problem-solving work culture, treating all persons with dignity and respect, and will be familiar with and committed to Oxfam America mission, values, and goals.Will have a fundamental understanding of gender justice and diversity within key areas of responsibility and a commitment to promoting gender justice, racial equity, and diversity in our workplace and programs.Within key areas of responsibility, will have a commitment to and be accountable foractivities contributing towards a safe and accountable workplace environment, projects and relationships for staff, partners and the communities we serveWill follow Oxfam America policies regarding Human Resources, Information Technology, and Financial Operations.
