Job Title: Operations Supervisor (MGM Music Hall at Fenway)

Time to step up your hospitality career! Aramark at MGM Theater is hiring an Operations Supervisor to join our passionate food and beverage Team. Working alongside our Director of Operations, you will help coordinate and lead operations, you’ll help oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and help oversee Live Nation events. Job Responsibilities

Oversee full service bars with other teammates.

Day to day operations for event based schedule.

Help open and close events.

Ensure inventory is accounted for before, during, and end of night.

Uphold Aramark's alcohol policy and enforce accordingly.

Maintain health and safety code regulations.

May prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location.

Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.

Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.

Train/mentor bartenders and barbacks.

Maintain logs on all maintenance required on equipment within the department.

Perform preventative maintenance checklist.

Proficiency in multi-tasking.

Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Operations whenever his/her skill and/or experience would be vital to initiate, coordinate, or complete any given program.

Must fill in for absent employees at location, as necessary.

Be able to work nightly events between Live Nation concerts and catering functions.

Attend meetings with staff.

Maintain communication with staff (including office staff, e-mail, phone calls, inter-office mail, etc.).

Proficient in Point of Sale systems.

Promote good public relations.

Qualifications

Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.

Work 20 to 40 hours in an event based schedule.

Must be knowledgeable in operating bar service.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.

Strong organizational skills.
