General Manager - Boston, Massachusetts. This is an opening restaurant situation. 8 - 10 years of first class operating experience in an independent, free standing restaurant of superb food, beverage, and service. Quality hotel food and beverage management experience might be good as well, if you have the skill set to provide outstanding organization expertise, team building, and the ability to see the big picture.
Farm to table experience will be a major plus. Having worked with fresh product from local sources is strongly desired in the project. A deep understanding of wine, wine service, and liquor service and storage is a plus. Especially American wines, beers, and alcoholic beverages.
You must be able to demonstrate excellence on all levels. Training, service, P & L, team building, leadership, and follow through to mention a few characteristics. You must be a teacher as well as a student. The ability to get the job done with your team and through your team.
Build guest loyalty, understand trends, and recognize new products and technologies. A solid record of accomplishment with and employment history that is stable and reflect increasing responsibility.

Compensation: $85 95 plus bonus, benefits, parking, etc.
