Join the team at Nancy's, a beloved seasonal dining spot in Oak Bluffs Harbor, Martha's Vineyard. We're seeking a talented and efficient Manager to help with kitchen operations during our bustling summer season.

Nancy's is renowned for its dynamic environment and traditional New England-style seafood fare. In July and August, our peak months, we serve approximately 1,500 patrons daily, blending classic favorites with new, exciting culinary creations.

Seasonal Employment Duration: From Memorial Day to Labor Day

Core Responsibilities:

Lead the overall kitchen operations with efficiency and creativity.

Train all new and existing kitchen staff, ensuring high standards are met.

Regularly work sauté shifts.

Maintain and exceed health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Manage kitchen equipment, ensuring everything is in prime working condition.

Develop and introduce new menu items while rejuvenating classic dishes.

Coordinate daily prep, minimizing waste.

Preferred Qualifications:

Solid background in a leadership role within a busy kitchen environment.

Exceptional team leadership and interpersonal skills.

Creative flair in menu design and food presentation.

Comprehensive understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.

Resilience and efficiency in high-pressure situations.
