Key Responsibilities:
Phlebotomy and Patient Care:
Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures with precision and care.
Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures.
Take and record vital signs efficiently.
Laboratory and Infection Control:
Conduct basic laboratory tests and maintain accurate records.
Ensure proper infection control practices are followed.
Administrative Support:
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Utilize Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills to enhance patient interaction and understanding.
Translate medical information and instructions accurately when needed.
Qualifications:
Certification in phlebotomy and/or medical assisting.
Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desirable.
