Seeking PCAs Saturday Sunday, and/or Wednesday evenings, 5-8 PM
also 7-8:30 AM on Monday Wednesday Fridays
A very nice PCA of mine needs to move soon. Will miss her but I am once again seeking female PCAs for Wednesday, Saturday, and/or Sunday evenings –3-4 hours anytime between 5 PM and 9 PM.$58.50-$78 per night.
Afternoon shifts are also available from 2:30 PM-5 PM.
for the evenings – –
I am a quadriplegic so I need help getting into bed – we use a Hoyer lift, and can train you.
Basic routine is feeding me supper – with minor food prep and cleanup afterwards.
Sometimes laundry or range of motion are needed. we wash the face, brush the hair, administer meds.
Once in bed, I need help changing a leg bag to an overnight bag.
Then I need assistance stretching and getting positioned properly in the bed.
Early morning shifts – making/eating breakfast
for the afternoon shifts –
they may involve many things that didn't get done that day – from opening mail, to cooking a small meal, to running an errand (must drive), or helping me stretch – bit by bit, we chip away. :-)
I am looking for kind and capable female personal care assistants to help me keep living a meaningful and productive life.
It helps if you have some experience, but we can teach you if you do not. I am very appreciative of the PCAs who have helped me live the last 35 years independently. I live in a very friendly neighborhood and have close friends and family.
As well as beautiful grandchildren.
Please contact me if you have questions or concerns. Look forward to talking with you!
Transportation – Buses run from Forest Hills to Roslindale Village, which is about a
10 minute walk to my house. There is also a 51 bus that sometimes runs evenings between Forest Hills and Cleveland Circle. It stops at the end of my street, and then a very short walk down the street. You can look it up on MBTA.com.
The Roslindale Village Commuter rail station is a five-minute walk from my house, and runs from Roslindale to Boston on the Needham line. you can go to MBTA.com and check out the stops from Boston 2 my neighborhood.
