Job Summary:

The Human Resource Administrative Assistant will assist the Director of Human Resources with the administration of the HR functions including sourcing and reviewing job applications from prospective employees, managing and overseeing HR records, and generating reports to monitor the overall efficiency of the HR Department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Source and interview candidates for all open positions.

Supports human resources department by screening, testing, and interviewing applicants.

May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.

Manage the Applicant Tracking System by maintaining accurate records of active job postings, applications received, interviews conducted, offers extended, and accepted job offers.

Assist with the administration of employee benefits, such as 401k, health, dental, and short-term and long-term disability insurance.

Maintain employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as contact information, performance reviews, benefits, and other key details.

Work with the Director of Human Resources on employee retention initiatives, best practices, and systems/tools to enhance employee satisfaction.

Work with the Director of HR on managing the employee performance review process.

Documents and tracks human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Provide front desk coverage as needed.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or work equivalent

3 to 5 years of HR administration experience

Positive attitude

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong systems skills and/or ability to pick up new systems with ease.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
