Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, (Full Time, 40 hours)

For over 35 years, North Hill, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. The Senior Recruiter will provide full cycle recruitment for all positions within the organization. Hands on support to all human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, Job postings. The role will also utilize applicant-tracking systems and support all managers with hiring needs.

HOURS/SHIFTS: Exempt, 40 hours

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Assist in recruiting strategies in support of staffing objectives by delivering suitable candidates for assigned positions.

Responsible for full-cycle recruiting and onboarding process through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Responsible for all advertisements and posting of positions using a wide array of resources.

Ensure all Position Requisitions are approved prior to advertising.

Prescreening of all applicants prior to forwarding to Hiring Managers for consideration. Ensure that all candidates meet the minimum requirements of the position.

Handle all aspects of the interview process. Schedule all interviews with hiring managers.

Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine status of candidates and to ensure all appropriate processes are followed through our ATS.

Extend all job offers to candidates to include offer letters and coordination of start date. Ability to answer any preliminary questions regarding benefits and any other concerns presented by candidate/new hire.

Conduct background checks on all new hires to include scheduling of pre-employment physicals, CORI and any other compliances required.

Coordinate all aspects of New Team Member Orientation.

Coordinate all Team Member events, job and health fairs.

Updates records and pertinent information along with updating the HRIS system with compliance document through the on boarding process.

Perform professional phone screens that qualify and inform candidates of expectations while satisfying legal and compliance obligations.

Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

Maintain applicant tracking records and files and certifications.

Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures.

Implements events for Wellness Committee in conjunction with our Activities Department.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or similar.

5 years’ Human Resources experience with emphasis in recruitment.

Proven or relevant HR administration experience.

Hands-on knowledge of human resources processes; compliances (federal and state) and best practices.

Health care experience preferred.

Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.

Expertise in Microsoft office required.
