Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Area Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations within a designated geographic region. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in operational management across diverse environments. Daily Report to SVP of Operations.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise multiple operational teams within the assigned area to ensure alignment with company goals and standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to inform executive decision-making.
Coordinate with other departments such as logistics, sales, and customer service to streamline processes and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies across all locations within the region.
Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and oversee inventory control to maximize efficiency.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular site visits to assess operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role within a multi-site environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and execute them successfully.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and safety standards relevant to the organization’s operations.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in relevant software applications such as ERP systems, MS Office Suite, and data analysis tools. This role is integral to maintaining operational excellence across multiple locations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
