Field Rep / Maintenance Tech Needed for Property Management Co

Boston based Property Management company looking for a professional, responsible, respectable, hard working person for work in Greater Boston area properties. Superior customer service, integrity, and a teamwork attitude all a must. Looking for the perfect fit to our energetic, friendly team. Previous maintenance experience preferred.

Summary:

Provide various and assorted tasks to support property managers

Provide basic maintenance services for residential condo and apartment buildings under management in Greater Boston Area

Maintain work vehicle

Maintain iPad

Responsibilities and Duties:

(Other duties may be assigned)

Assist property managers in any capacity needed

Assist with move in/out procedures

Assist with emergency repairs/maintenance promptly and appropriately

Oversee cleaning crew from time to time - confirm all common areas are clean -

laundry rooms, trash areas, grounds, etc.

Visit residential properties, primarily condominium and apartment buildings to

meet vendors, contractors, and utility company reps

Visit properties for routine inspections - check in and monitor ongoing work at

properties. Provide regular, routine common area inspections for the purpose of

creating maintenance punch lists; reports issues to property managers

Walk-thru newly acquired properties to complete checklists and record information

about building systems

Inspects rental units for condition

Test, maintain and organizes keys

Makes general recommendations about the properties to the managers

Learn application, “Jobber”, third party software application for maintenance

scheduling and management

Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes being "on-call"

Resolve residents’ concerns while maintaining a friendly demeanor

Light carpentry, patching, painting when applicable

Light electric when applicable

Light plumbing when applicable

Light masonry when applicable

Light roofing when applicable

Change locks - doors and mailbox locks

Oversees and approves workmanship for third party service providers

Offers maintenance suggestions and recommendations

Assists in long term maintenance planning

Routine building inspections/walk-throughs

Repairs as needed

Assist in price estimations and proposals

Follows schedule provided by property managers

Takes responsibility with all building keys

Maintain provided tools and equipment

Purchase supplies, maintains receipts, tracks inventory

Valid US work authorization required (employee position - taxes will be deducted from paychecks). Valid US drivers license, and minimum 5 years driving experience required. Full-time position available starting in ASAP.

Vehicle is provided by company; all related vehicle expenses covered by company. Tools, equipment, supplies, and uniform provided by company.
