Looking for a crew members able to work part-time between weekdays and weekends. May required weekend night pick up with advance notification.
CREW MEMBER TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK INTERMEDIATE SPANISH
Crew member will assist with loading/off loading equipment, assist with setting up and disassembling equipment along with able to lift up 50 lbs.
Start at $18.00 depending on job position. Position starts as a contractor (1099K). Start date - Late Feb to Early March
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Load/unload truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries.
Assist and contribute to event setup/installation and tear down/dissemble.
Always conduct self in a professional and ethical manner. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
Fill customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations.
Check in and put away equipment, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure equipment is properly organized and cleaned.
Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed. Clean warehouse, counter area, etc.
Understand location of merchandise in warehouse. Keep material organized and put away.
Continuously update product knowledge. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know location of merchandise in warehouse.
Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired.
Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers during deliveries.
Report back orders or discrepancies.
Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as needed.
Perform vehicle inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.
Assist in performance of year-end physical inventories for various branch locations.
Perform other responsibilities as directed.
Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
Driver Responsibility - Drive company vehicle to make customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and acceptable driving record.
Abilities and Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, or crouch.
The employee is regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs. When the employee is occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs it will be with the assistance of team members, and equipment. Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material. The employee is regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks.
The employee may also be required to safely operate electrical equipment such as but not limited to drills, and more.
