- Part-Time: Tues-Thurs, 7am-3pm
- Part-Time: Fri 3pm-11pm; Sat-Sun, 7am-3pm (Starting March)
- Per Diem: Tues, 3pm-11pm (Starting March)
Position Overview:
Direct Care staff at Centerboard’s Youth Service Campus play a key role in supporting youth residents' treatment. They must foster a trauma-informed environment and assist in addressing behavioral and emotional needs. Staff will ensure safety, teach coping skills, and support youth in daily activities while maintaining documentation and records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document incidents, interactions, and progress notes
- Respond to crises using Behavior Management Techniques
- Ensure resident safety and adhere to program protocols
- Maintain healthy relationships with residents and colleagues
- Assist in life skills training, including transportation, medical, school, and work activities
- Support residents' individual care plans and treatment goals
- Prepare meals, assist with facility cleanliness, and manage medication procedures
- Conduct room searches, fire drills, and drug tests
- Transport youth to appointments and supervise during field trips
- Overnight shifts: conduct 15-minute checks, maintain security, and keep records
Additional Duties:
- Ensure smooth communication between shifts
- Participate in ongoing training and complete necessary documentation
