As the Program Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our group home program, ensuring smooth coordination of staff, schedules, and services. Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight: Manage the group home’s operations, including behavior management systems, program scheduling, and staff supervision.
Collaboration: Work with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and other agencies to facilitate referrals, admissions, and resident services.
Staff Leadership: Lead program staff meetings, provide supervision, and encourage professional growth through ongoing training and development.
Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community partners to support family and program needs.
Clinical Coordination: Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement Individual Treatment Plans for residents.
Financial Management: Oversee program budgets, manage billing processes, and reconcile invoices with the Fiscal Department.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including staff training and certification requirements.
Quality Assurance: Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives, monitor program effectiveness, and present findings.
On-Call Rotation: Provide crisis support and leadership during on-call shifts.
Administrative Duties: Handle staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and corrective actions. Ensure proper documentation of staff supervision, training, and internal investigations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in residential care with supervisory experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with youth and families.
Must pass competency evaluations and participate in ongoing professional development.
