Local landscape construction company seeking full-time Office Assistant for immediate hire. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) required. Duties will include office work, bookkeeping work, creating forms, templates, and reports in MS Office, answering phones, customer support, scheduling, marketing work, inventory management, reconciliations, and other tasks. A driver’s license is required to run errands and make deliveries in company vehicle when needed (no manual labor is required just driving). Our business is located in a new office building in North Billerica, and a local candidate is preferred (not more than 5 - 10 miles away). Health insurance is offered plus 1 paid vacation weeks and 6 paid holidays. Office hours are M-F 8am-4:30pm. This job requires a high level of attention to detail, and prolonged periods of focus and concentration (no listening to music, or habitual texting, or other routine interruptions to work). We are growing a business and for the right candidate, this can be a lucrative career opportunity over the long term, but let's see how it goes initially first. Management consists of 1 owner, 1 office manager and ` field manager, so you won't have 15 bosses to keep happy. This might be a refreshing change for a corporate type. Our business is making landscaping dreams a reality, which is very satisfying, albeit a tremendous amount of work (in the field and office).
