Small home-based business seeks an energetic, reliable, detail-oriented person with bookkeeping experience to assist our small business selling women’s clothing for 15-20+ hours per week, possibly up to 40 hours per week. Weekday schedule will vary depending on workload, needs and applicant’s capabilities and will be worked out to the mutual benefit of both parties. Must be a non-smoker, have excellent attention to detail and possess exceptional administrative and clerical skills, and be prepared to work collaboratively in a small, home-based environment. Most of the time, the work will be done remotely except for when the owners are traveling—so worker must be LOCAL (within 30 mins) to 02420 zip code and easily able to pack and lift boxes weighing 15-20 pounds when owners are away, which is a few times a year.
We are looking for someone who can refresh and update our Shopify website, create customer advertising campaigns, issue and maintain invoices and inventory using QuickBooks, prepare us for taxes, do month-end and year-end reporting, maintain files and mailing lists, speak to wholesale and retail customers, and help with other office-related tasks. The ability to multi-task, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks, Shopify, Word and Excel are a must, as is a passion for design, detail, and exceptional organizational skills. Knowledge of website design, content creation for ads, look books and other marketing material, QuickBooks on Right Networks is a real plus. We are looking for someone who is sunny, cooperative, and laid-back.
