We are a full service real estate firm hiring a real estate property manager to engage in the operations of the business. Our areas of focus include property and asset management, capital projects and sales & leasing.
JOB SUMMARY
Under limited supervision, provides general support to the Real Estate Team as a property manager. Assists with all aspects of the business operation including property management, real estate brokerage and marketing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs a variety of tasks for the management of rental housing units, including single units and multi-family buildings, as well as home owner association (HOA) management.
- Coordination of routine maintenance, emergency maintenance and large improvement projects.
- Tenant and trustee relations.
- Maintains tenant, vendor and property files, including insurance certificates, lease abstracts, etc. in accordance with prescribed standards.
- Works with vendors to compile a list of maintenance items. Coordinates and monitors status of work assigned to vendors.
- Assists with budget preparation by researching costs for supplies and services and obtaining bids as directed. Comply with bid process guidelines. Assists with preparations of monthly and quarterly management reports.
-Performs other duties as assigned including special projects, like HOA annual budgeting, apartment turnover projects, and capital improvement project tasks.
- Assists with marketing campaigns including online platforms, sign making, mail marketing and social media
Requirements:
- STRONG work ethic
- Desktop software knowledge including Microsoft Office and Google Suite software
- Understanding of Excel spreadsheet functions
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, especially over email
- Reliable transportation
- Real Estate , admin , or property management experience a plus
This job is best suited for an entry level staffer, someone that has just graduated high school or college, or someone in more of an administrative role looking to level-up to a position with more responsibility.
