Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join our Recycling Manufacturing Division. This position plays a key role in the operation of recycling equipment used in the processing of lamp ballasts and mercury-containing materials. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain recycling machinery and equipment in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.
- Process lamp ballasts, mercury components, and related materials following company and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform routine inspections, quality checks, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
- Ensure materials are sorted, handled, and documented properly for recycling compliance.
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
- Assist with general plant operations, cleaning, and material handling as needed.
- Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or recycling preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the West Bridgewater facility.
-Must pass background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
Additional Details:
hourly pay- 20/Hr
Consistent daytime schedule (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
