I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionThe intern will be responsible for maintaining various cell lines in culture vessels, collecting and analyzing data from high-throughput screening experiments, and operating analytical instruments like the NovaFlex2.How You Will Contribute:

A key aspect of the role will involve utilizing data analysis and machine learning techniques to identify predictive markers for top-performing clones. This includes data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model development.

The intern will also be responsible for keeping meticulous records of their work in an electronic notebook and presenting findings at the end of their term.

Internship Development Opportunities:

Intern will learn cell culture and possibly some molecular biology techniques associated with cell line development process. Furthermore, the intern will contribute in the efforts to develop machine learning models to identify top clones in early stages of the process.

Job Requirements:

This is an in-person position located in Cambridge, MA

Candidates must be currently enrolled in either a Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral program graduating December 2025 or later

Strong data analysis skills, including experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, or MATLAB)

Familiarity with laboratory automation and data management systems

Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Internship Eligibility

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later

The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd

The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames

Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates

Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
