Client Services Specialist III

The Client Services Specialist III role is essential to fostering strong relationships with UL Solutions clients. It requires a detail-oriented professional who will manage multiple simultaneous projects, routinely communicate relevant project information to our clients, and proactively work with internal technical teams to ensure we are delivering the customer experience, integrity, and values our globally recognized UL mark represents. The selected candidate will:

Organize and coordinate assigned client account work in a timely and profitable manner.

Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Support Services, Quality Assurance, Sales, Business Development and other affiliated stakeholders to ensure that clients experience superior service.

Prepare client proposals, report specifications, technical information, quotes, etc.

Provide technical consulting services to clients directly and/or through coordination with internal technical team.

Follow up on inquiry calls; respond to specific client inquiries promptly and professionally.

Participate in trade shows and technical conferences when necessary.

Work with business support to bill clients in a timely, concise, and profitable manner.

Provide technical support to in house employees as required.

Maintain up to date knowledge of procedures, client requirements, and technical subject matter and utilize that knowledge to provide superior service and manage programs.

Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

Perform other duties as directed.

Required: General degree or equivalent, with additional years of directly-related work experience.

Required: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.)

Required: Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff and clients.

Required: Ability to work hybrid work arrangement (Monday through Friday work week, with 3 days on-site, and 2 working from home)

Required: Commutable distance from Canton, MA laboratory for on-site work days.

Highly preferred: Client-facing, and quality control related, industry experience.

Highly preferred: Familiarity with TIC (testing, inspection, and certification) industry, and testing programs which would add value for client program management.

Preferred: Familiarity with company software programs (i.e., LIMS, Advantage, etc.).
