Summary of PositionThe Project Manager reports directly to the Director of EPMO.The Project Manager is responsible for leading, monitoring execution, closing strategic projects, and managing the handoff to BML internal teams. They must have the ability to identify project resource needs and escalate resource constraints to Portfolio Management as well as provide transparent communication on project status and risks to necessary stakeholders. The position resides in the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) organization and serves as the liaison between the all relevant functional areas throughout the organization, driving projects to successful implementation on time and on budget Execution of projects is a critical way in which the EPMO helps BML achieves annual objectives.The Project Manager is expected to:
Ensure projects are managed following Project Management best practices
Consult on the creation of the business project team’s Action Plan
Develop the Business Project Plan by assess project charter, business requirements and activity outlines
Report project status to stakeholders
Escalate needs and roadblocks to EPMO Management and Project Sponsors and take corrective actions as needed
Identify project risks and remediation plans
Facilitate project meetings and motivate project team subject matter experts
Maintain stakeholder alignment to the EPMO process and focus on project objectives
Perform other duties and/or tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Knowledge RequirementsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience:
3+ years of overall professional experience, of which 2 years are in a project managementcoordinator function required.
Experience working with a portfolio of several projects preferred
Demonstrated ability to exceed individual and project delivery objectives
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Knowledge Requirements:
Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build and extend relationships
Ability to handle competing priorities and multi-task a variety of requests simultaneously in a fast paced work environment
Strong verbal, written, and active listening skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Self-motivated with a proven track record in managing strategy and delivery
Skilled in conflict resolution and change management
Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently
Ability to manage relationships with both internal and external customers

Knowledge in consulting basics and business analysis

Understanding of project management methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile
Certifications/Licensures:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Agile certification preferred
Hybrid Work ModelAt our Canton location, employees will be on site Monday - Thursday starting 5/1/23.
