AECOM is actively seeking to add a Geologist V to our Chelmsford, MA office.  Our business focuses primarily on providing professional and technical services in engineering design, code consultation, and construction phase services for a wide variety of clients both in the private and public sectors. We execute large and complex engineering projects and provide a comprehensive range of professional planning and design, systems engineering and technical assistance, program and construction management, and operations and maintenance services. The role will be responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project-specific objectives and policies. The department is involved in many on-going efforts and continue to utilize top talent to exceed performance expectations. The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to: Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge. 
Makes recommendations on work methods and procedures and technical innovations by devising practical and economical solutions to problems in own discipline. 
Makes recommendations on research requests, objectives, priorities, and timing. 
Assess need for change and recommends development of standards. 
Assess work against standards, objectives and specifications. 
Utilizes advanced scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies when working on unusually complex technical problems.
Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance. 
Develops solutions which are highly innovative. Assignments are often self-initiated. Acts as advisor to management and clients. Oversees the work of less experienced scientists.
