Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.Learn about the Danaher Business System (https://www.danaher.com/how-we-work/danaher-business-system) which makes everything possible.The Financial Analyst - Strategy for Cytiva partners with the Business Development Finance Leader and Business Development teams and is responsible for providing the business insightful analytics internally and externally focused to drive strategic decision-making, while also contributing to long-term forecasting cycles and monthly financial reporting rhythms. The Financial Analyst – Strategy will also have the opportunity to participate in M&A related activities, particularly as it relates to data collection, benchmarking, and integration work post-acquisition.This position is part of the CFO Analyst team within the Finance Department and can be in Marlborough, Massachusetts fully on-site. Support both the annual Strat (long-term, strategic planning) cycle to understand future organic and inorganic growth levers, and the annual Budget cycle for Cytiva

Generate standard reports covering the market and competitive landscape to provide the business with the right visibility on competitor’s strategic direction and financial performance

Support selected portions of the closing and forecasting processes in coordination with the HQ FP&A team, including the development of Investor Relations data packages and various reports detailing topline performance

Coordinate with the Product Management, R&D, and Business Unit finance teams to build standard financial models to bring visibility into return on investment (ROI) and investment decisions

Assist with business integration action plans as needed. Work with the new Finance teams to implement DHR standard work post-acquisition

Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar business-related course

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance or related field

Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives, drive positive change, clear thinking / problem solving: ability to work cross functionally and lead projects/process improvement initiatives; quickly grasp new idea and concepts

Excellent communication skills across various career levels, functions, and regions. Ability to clearly communicate complex financial results to a non-financial audience

Strong PC Skills: Strong Excel skills essential (managing large amounts of data, vlookups, pivot tables, financial modelling), with some experience in visualization tools strongly preferred (preferably QlikSense), and Powerpoint desirable. Experience with financial systems/applications desirable (Oracle, OneStream)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Healthcare industries

The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
