Job Type: Per DiemTime Type: Part timeWork Shift: Rotating (United States of America)FLSA Status: Non-ExemptWhen you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.Position Summary:Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton is committed to improving the health of our community by providing exceptional, personalized health care with dignity, compassion and respect.Under the direction of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Clinical Dietitian is responsible for maintaining a program that assures that the patients are provided with quality Medical Nutrition Therapy consistent with hospital policy and in accordance with the requirements of The Joint Commission, the DPH and other regulatory agencies.Screens and assesses nutritional status of patients and develops nutrition care plans with established goals. Provides medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education following established standards of care and practice guidelines. Works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary model to achieve positive patient outcomes. Participates in performance improvement process and initiatives to improve client/patient services. Acts as a role model for staff members. Complies with all regulatory standards. Demonstrates flexibility in response to changes. Supports patient meal service functions as needed.
