Deposit Operations Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Operations Specialist in the banking industry, located in Needham, Massachusetts, United States. In this role, you'll be expected to handle wire transfers with precision, manage customer enrollments in our online banking platform, and adhere to the bank's customer authentication standards.Responsibilities: Accurately process incoming wire transfers received through the bank's system within the established guidelines. Handle outgoing domestic and international wire transfers in U.S. Dollars and/or foreign currency for commercial/consumer customers within prescribed limits and guidelines. Manage wire service enrollments for consumer online banking customers efficiently through the online banking platform. Process entries for incoming foreign wire transfers received through the bank's correspondent relationships. Execute foreign currency outgoing international wires for branches through the bank's wire system. Conduct callbacks with contact center technology, ensuring compliance with the bank's Customer Authentication Standards. Verify the identity of customers and confirm the authenticity of wire transactions. Requirements Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Have a minimum of two years of experience in a banking operations role. Show proficiency in Wire Transfer operations, including initiating, verifying, and processing transactions. Demonstrate knowledge and experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. Exhibit a strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements. Display excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Show proficiency in using banking software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently when necessary. Have experience in customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Show willingness to stay updated with industry trends and emerging banking technologies. Be willing to engage in ongoing learning and training opportunities.
