Maxim Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much respected facility in Pittsfield, MA who are currently seeking LPNs to assist them on a contractual basis. Details of the position include:Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Program: Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)/ Myofascial pain (MFP) Residential Services Supervisor: ABI/MFP House Manager Location: West Stockbridge, MA Schedule: Full time 3pm-11pm (alternating schedule) Week 1: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, SaturdayStart Date: Two weeks from offer Pay Rate: $47/hr POSITION DESCRIPTION: The ABI/MFP LPN is primarily responsible for providing various supports to individuals with disabilities in a group home setting. The LPN assists individuals in all areas of daily living including personal care, housekeeping, cooking and recreational activities. The LPN provides medical treatment beyond the scope of a MAP certified direct care staff. Work closely with individuals to help them become as independent as possible in order meet their own personal goals. Assist individuals to find as well as participate in community activities they enjoy while encouraging community membership as well as individual interests. QUALIFICATIONS: License by the MA Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse and have 2 years’ experience in the direct care of the elderly or disabled. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background chcks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, Driving record, E-verify Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e., nursing). Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Must maintain all certification needed in the program including LPN licensure, CPR, First Aid, and Human Rights Training.
